RUA Blog Subscriber Lite

Description

This multisite compatible plugin allows users to subscribe to your blog using a customized form. Users will have the ability to subscribe to your blog, verify their subscription and unsubscribe.
Your subscribers can be viewed from a dashboard in the admin section. You can see their subscription status, the data they unsubscribed and delete any subscribers. When a user
subscribes to your blog using the form a verification email is sent to their email address. In the email there is a Verify button that the subscriber will click that then
changes the subscribers status from Unverified to Subscribed. When you Publish a new post, all of your subscribers will receive an email announcing a new Post was Published with
a link in the email back to that post for their reading. Also inside all Published Posts emails, there is an Unsubscribed link. So if a subscriber wishes to Unsubscribe from
your blog, they can click the Unsubscribe link and their status will change from Subscribed to Unsubscribed and will no longer receive emails when you Publish a new Post.
There are some limited custom settings in the Lite version for the form and the email content.

Using the following shortcode [ruasubscriber], you can place the Subscription Form on a page or post. If you would like to place the shortcode in a widget
you will need to use the Shortcode Widget Plugin. The Shortcode Widget plugin is a Free plugin from the WordPress Directory which allows you to place
shortcodes in a widget. Out of the box, WordPress Widgets cannot handle shortcodes.

I was so happy to find this plug in. It is really simple to use and the support from the maker is excellent, very responsive and available. There is a clear form for the subscribers to complete with a confirmation email and all very well presented. I highly recommend!

I needed an easy way for my readers to get notices of my blog updates by email. RUA Subscriber fits the bill perfectly. I had some issues with a conflict with Wordpress HTTPS plugin but Darren gave amazing support and has me up and running. Thanks for a great job!

As a beginner to Wordpress, I appreciate that this plug-in is so user-friendly. I have the RUA Lite version. The step-by-step instructions are very clearly written and easy to understand for a novice like me. When I had a question, customer support emailed an answer to me very quickly. They took to time to make sure everything was right on my end and explained things to me in a way I could easily understand.

After I installed the lite version and thought it was what I was looking for, I paid $20 for the full version so I could edit the look of the button, etc. Everyone who tried to sign up for blog get error message and no one could confirm subscription. In addition, the plugin writer site is buggy and you cant create an account in order to create a help ticket. save your money and do the free plugin email subscribers.
