## Description

**Gift Cards Manager** is a WooCommerce plugin that allows you to add full-featured
gift card functionality to your online store. Your customers can purchase virtual
gift cards and send them via email to recipients. Each gift card includes a unique
code that can be redeemed at checkout.

## Installation

#### From the WordPress dashboard

 1. Go to **Plugins > Add New**.
 2. Search for **Gift Cards Manager**.
 3. Click **Install Now** and then **Activate**.

#### Manual installation

 1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress.

## FAQ

### Can I set custom amounts for gift cards?

Yes, when you activate the plugin, a product called “Gift Card” is created along
with the attribute “Amount” with values of €25, €40, and €100. Edit the “Gift Card”
product and create the variations you want.

### How are the codes created?

When the customer purchases the product, a code is generated in the main menu section
with the status “pending.” When the URL that corresponds to the QR code sent by 
email is visited, the code is marked as used, and internally the gift card code 
changes its status to “published.”
