This plugin connects to the Awatar Chat API at api.awatar.chat to manage and enhance chatbot functionality. It uses the following endpoints:
- Activate/Deactivate Chatbot (
http://api.awatar.chat/api/wp/activate/chatbot): Sends the chatbot’s name to activate or deactivate it. When deactivated, the chatbot icon will not appear on the site. - Single Post Update (
http://api.awatar.chat/api/wp/post): Triggered whenever a post is published or updated; sends the post URL for ingestion into the chatbot’s knowledge library. - Multiple Posts Update (
http://api.awatar.chat/api/wp/post/multi): Sends up to 150 post URLs present on the site for bulk ingestion into the chatbot’s knowledge library. - Onboarding Progress (
http://api.awatar.chat/api/wp): Retrieves the site’s onboarding process progress. - Start Onboarding (
http://api.awatar.chat/api/wp/activate): Initiates the onboarding process by sending the user-entered license key.
All API requests include a site key, the site’s URL, and, when required, the admin’s email address to verify and authenticate the request.

Installation
- Install using the WordPress built-in Plugin installer.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Click on the \\”Awatar\\” menu on activation and follow the instructions given on how to obtain a license key.
- Enter the obtained license key into the input field and begin the activation process.
- Activation will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. Once completed click on Activate Chatbot to start seeing the chatbot
